Zain Invests in Youth Creativity and Leadership

(JUBA) – On 12 August 2025, International Youth Day, Zain South Sudan highlighted its commitment to youth empowerment through leadership and innovation, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The company spotlighted the Zain Youth Counsel, a programme designed to nurture promising young employees and equip them to address strategic challenges with confidence and purpose.

The initiative gives participants direct access to senior executives, including company CEOs, allowing them to engage in meaningful dialogue and contribute to corporate decision making.

Through the Zain Youth Counsel, young employees develop leadership, strategic thinking, and creative problem solving skills. The programme encourages them to take initiative, make impactful contributions and drive innovation within the company.

A Zain spokesperson said the organisation is proud of every member of the Youth Counsel and looks forward to celebrating their contributions towards a more sustainable future.

He added that by fostering the growth of young leaders, Zain aims to empower a new generation capable of shaping South Sudan’s social and economic development.
