(JUBA CITY) – More than 50 girls at Juba Day Secondary School in Juba have benefited from a mentorship and financial literacy outreach organized by KCB Bank South Sudan as part of activities marking International Women’s Day.
During the session, bank officials engaged the students in discussions on financial literacy, including the importance of saving, budgeting, and developing responsible financial habits at an early age.
The interactive presentation was led by Rania Alex and Julius Muhame, who encouraged the students to adopt good money management practices and plan for their future.
The Head of Business Development at KCB Bank South Sudan, Taban James Dakada, also addressed the students, motivating them to remain focused on their education and to pursue their ambitions with confidence.
As part of the outreach program, the KCB team distributed sanitary towels to the students to help ensure they have the necessary support to remain in school consistently.
The initiative is part of KCB Bank South Sudan’s broader commitment to empowering young people, supporting education, and strengthening communities.
Bank officials say empowering girls through education and mentorship is key to building stronger communities in the future.
