(JUBA) – MTN South Sudan has launched a new promotional campaign known as the “Berabera Deal,” giving customers in Juba a chance to own Samsung smartphones through a flexible payment plan. The offer allows users to acquire selected phones and pay in small instalments, easing the burden of upfront costs in a market where purchasing power remains low for many consumers.
Available at key MTN customer service points across Juba including MTN House CSP, Juba Town CSP and Hai Cinema CSP, the Berabera Deal is designed to increase access to smartphones, particularly among youth and first time buyers. Interested customers can dial *100*10# to check eligibility and begin the process.
MTN South Sudan describes the deal as a way for customers to “flex” with a new phone without straining their finances.
The company has not released specific prices or instalment details.
South Sudan’s mobile sector remains one of the few rapidly growing consumer markets. However, high costs and limited credit options continue to restrict smartphone access.
Smartphone ownership is becoming increasingly essential in South Sudan for communication, banking, education and access to news and social media. With many South Sudanese unable to afford large one time payments for devices, the Berabera Deal offers a more accessible pathway to technology.
MTN has not confirmed how long the offer will run or how many units are available, but the company has warned that stock is limited and may run out quickly.
