(JUBA CITY) – The electoral committee constituted by the State Ministry of Youth and Sports has declared Aggrey Duku Arkangelo as the new Chairperson of the Central Equatoria State Youth Union.
Aggrey secured 37 votes, defeating other candidates who contested for the same position.
Morris Michael Taban, who oversaw the electoral process on Wednesday, described the election as fair, transparent, democratic and successful.
He stated that the new youth leadership will serve a four-year term, effective from June 10, 2026, to June 10, 2030.
“I, Morris Michael Taban, Chairperson of the Electoral Committee, hereby declare Mr. Aggrey Duku Arkangelo as the winner of this election for the position of Chairperson of the Central Equatoria State Youth Union for a period of four years, starting from this 10th day of June 2026 up to the 10th of June 2030.”
