The Ad-hoc Committee mandated to assess the educational performance of primary and secondary schools in Central Equatoria State has officially presented its draft report to H.E. Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony on Thursday.
The committee’s findings identified several critical barriers affecting the delivery of quality education across the state. Among the key challenges highlighted are the severe shortage of qualified teachers, the absence of sustainable school feeding programs, and inadequate funding for the education sector.
The report underscores the urgent need for increased investment, structured professional training for teachers, and strengthened institutional support to improve learning outcomes.
Governor Adil commended the committee for conducting a thorough and comprehensive assessment. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the full implementation of the report’s recommendations, emphasizing the importance of swift and sustainable reforms to enhance academic performance throughout Central Equatoria State.
Following the presentation by the Committee Chairperson, Hon. Lona Sadia Anthony, the final report will be tabled before the State Council of Ministers for detailed deliberation and official approval.
Upon endorsement, the report is expected to serve as a strategic roadmap for implementing reforms across government-aided schools in the state.
