(JUBA) – The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has issued several official orders to change the leadership within the state government. These changes affect both the general administration and the state broadcasting body. The orders take effect immediately.
In the first move, Gemeiza Kakule Kwajok Ajak has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of the state government. This role is part of the transitional government structure in Central Equatoria and involves supporting the coordination of government activities.
The Governor also announced a full reshuffle of the Board of Directors for the Equator Broadcasting Corporation. Karlo Arigo Wani has been named as the new chairperson, while Margaret Peter Abudi will serve as the deputy chairperson. Five other members were appointed to the board, including Rejoice Tio Samson, Faraj Juma Zaid, Anna Nimiriano, Suzy Anthony, and James Sekwat Enosa. This group will oversee the state media house and its operations.
Governor Adil thanked the officials who are leaving these positions for the work they did for the state during their time in office. He also offered his best wishes to the new appointees as they begin their new duties.
While the official orders did not mention specific salaries, the state budget manages large amounts for government personnel.
