(Bor) – The late Hon. Professor Ezra Mayom Ngong Joh, a respected elder, liberation figure, and serving Member of Parliament, will be honoured with a public funeral prayer and life celebration on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM at Chuei Atem Beny in Bor Town, Jonglei State.
The announcement was made by the family of the late lawmaker, who extended a warm invitation to government officials from Jonglei State, relatives, colleagues, friends, and members of the public to attend the ceremony.
The occasion aims to celebrate the life and service of a man who, many say, contributed significantly to the national struggle and to public life in South Sudan.
