(JUBA, CENTRAL EQUATORIA STATE) – The South Sudan Paediatric Association (SSPA) will hold a Continuous Medical Education (CME) session on Friday, 16 January 2026, at 7:00 am at Al Sabbah Hospital, Juba.
The session will focus on common dermatological conditions in children and is part of SSPA’s ongoing efforts to improve healthcare for South Sudanese children.
The training will be presented by Dr. Radiator Oliver and Dr. Cecilia Andrew, with expert contributions from Dr. Geovani Joseph and Dr. Dorothy Paul, who will provide professional insights from a dermatology perspective.
SSPA said the CME sessions are designed for health professionals seeking to strengthen their knowledge and skills in managing childhood illnesses. The sessions are held every Friday at Al Sabbah Hospital and aim to enhance the quality of paediatric healthcare across South Sudan.
In related initiatives, SSPA recently held a paediatric medical camp in Terekeka on 13 January 2026. The event highlighted the importance of investing in children’s health and mentoring young doctors in humanitarian work.
Volunteers provided medical support and guidance, demonstrating how healthcare professionals can positively impact communities for generations.
SSPA expressed pride in the dedication of medical volunteers and emphasised the role of education and community service in building stronger healthcare systems for the nation.
