(JUBA) – Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony of Central Equatoria State has received a detailed briefing on the ongoing revival of the Equatoria Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) Television and the CES Newspaper.
The initiatives aim to expand coverage of the State Government’s activities and improve information access across the region.
The briefing was delivered by the State Minister of Information and Communication, Hon. Nyarsuk Patrick, who highlighted key developments in modernising EBC and preparing CES Newspaper for relaunch.
Governor Adil affirmed his administration’s support for the projects, noting their importance in strengthening communication and public engagement in Central Equatoria State.
He commended the Minister for his efforts and encouraged teamwork to transform EBC into a modern media hub capable of providing timely and accurate information to residents.
The Deputy Governor, Hon. Paulino Lukudu Obede, also attended the briefing, a move claimed by CESGPU as the state leadership’s commitment to the revival of both media outlets.
Officials said the relaunch of EBC Television and CES Newspaper is expected to enhance government transparency, promote local news coverage and create new opportunities for media professionals in the state.
