(JUBA) – Emmanuel Christian University has announced its 2026 freshers orientation programme for new students as part of preparations for the new academic year in South Sudan.
The university said the orientation will introduce first year students to its vision, academic standards and Christian foundation, as well as the opportunities available on campus.
The event is scheduled for Monday 2 March 2026 from 10am to 12pm at the ECU campus on 1.5 Maridi Road in Reconcile Compound, Juba.
According to the university, the Vice Chancellor, Daniel Felix Ohide, will address the new intake. The institution said his presence reflects its commitment to guiding students through academic leadership and spiritual values.
University officials said the orientation will outline expectations on discipline, academic performance and personal conduct. Students will also receive information on available programmes and campus life.
The university described the event as the start of a new chapter for incoming students and encouraged them to attend prepared to learn and engage with staff and fellow learners.
Emmanuel Christian University is continuing to admit students for the 2026 intake. The institution has invited prospective applicants from across South Sudan to apply.
The university said it aims to promote academic excellence rooted in Christian teaching and to support students in building purposeful careers that contribute to national development.
