(JUBA) – Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony of Central Equatoria State has launched the Government-Partners Forum, a platform designed to strengthen coordination between the state government and non-governmental organisations operating in the state.
The forum aims to review progress, identify challenges and align activities of all partners with the state government’s strategic direction to ensure equitable service delivery.
Adil assured attendees of his administration’s commitment to creating safe and unhindered humanitarian access across the state. He also called for strong institutional collaboration between the government and development partners to enhance efficiency and impact.
Representatives from both the government and partner organisations renewed their commitment to addressing challenges facing the humanitarian sector.
They discussed ways to align programmes and activities to meet the state government’s priorities, particularly in the areas of peace, security, and sustainable development.
The forum provides an opportunity for open dialogue, coordination, and planning to ensure that humanitarian efforts and development initiatives are effectively delivered to communities in Central Equatoria.
The state government seeks to strengthen collaboration, reduce duplication of efforts, and maximise the impact of all programmes operating in the region by creating this platform, according to the state government press unit CESGPU.
