(JUBA) – President Salva Kiir Mayardit has officially resumed his duties following the Christmas and New Year holidays. He was welcomed warmly by senior officials and staff of the Presidency upon his return.
In his address, President Kiir stressed the importance of peace, unity, and a firm commitment to public service as vital for the progress of South Sudan.
The Head of State called on citizens to renew their commitment to peace, unity, and hard work to ensure effective delivery of services across the country.
He also praised the population for their resilience in facing ongoing challenges, reaffirming his administration’s dedication to addressing the complex issues confronting the nation.
